En el verano del 2015, Macotea tuvo la oportunidad de colaborar con DJ

Princeone, el cual forma parte de la gran empresa de 'DJS" conocida como LMP, este a su vez es DJ de la emisora x96.3FM que transmite en la ciudad de Nueva York. Junto a DJ Princeone y el artista urbano de NYC “Young Sosa” crearon su primera canción titulada "Como Michael Jackson" Producido por Scalez, Uno de los productores musicales más conocidos en el estado de Nueva York, acreditado por grabar “Coronamos” de Anuel AA. 

A resultados de la colaboración del tema “Como Michael Jackson”, Macotea empieza a presentarse en estaciones de radios y discotecas en el área tri- estatal. Haciendo que otros DJs y personas del entretenimiento pusieran atención a su talento y a su música. Luego de un año, Macotea fue reconocido por su próximo tema titulado "Millones"en colaboración con el artista urbano ”Chanolock”, logrando posicionarse como el tema #1 en "LaKHalletop10" Radio. En el 2016 y 2017, Macotea lanza otros sencillos titulados “5am” y “Captura El Momento”, los cuales al igual obtuvieron mucha aceptación de la industria de la música en Nueva York. Haciendo que Macotea siguiera dando de qué hablar en las discotecas de la gran manzana, dándole más chispa a su carrera musical.

En Abril del 2018, Macotea firma su primer contrato con la disquera del Artista "Jim Jones" el cual es reconocido como un icono en la industria de la música Americana (Hip-Hop). Macotea firma bajo "Vamp Life Records" siendo el primer artista latino en firmar con dicha disquera.

En el 2019 Macotea lanza su primer álbum titulado "Atras De un Plato" 

un álbum de 20 canciones demostrando su versatilidad en diferente estilos y ritmos musicales. El álbum "Atras De Un Plato" fue trabajado por grandes productores y exponentes musicales, Como "Frankonni" (antes conocido como “Frank E.D.L.G.M”, co-productor musical del tema “Perreo Sólido” de Don Omar), y "Xtassy" del dúo "A&X" (creadores de grandes éxitos como “Danza Kuduro” de Don Omar, “Dutty Love” de Natti Natasha Ft Don Omar, entre otros).  Dicho álbum, catapultó la carrera de Macotea posicionando lo en grandes “Playlists” de plataformas digitales como Spotify, Apple Music, entre otros.

“Macotea” graduated from high school in 2012 and obtained a college scholarship thanks to his great talent as a baseball player. In May 2015, “Macotea” decides to quit baseball, and return

to New York City to realize his desire to be an artist.

In the summer of 2015, “Macotea” had the opportunity to collaborate with “DJ Princeone”, who is part of the great 'DJS" company known as LMP in New York City. Together with “DJ Princeone” and NYC latin urban artist "Young Sosa" they created their first song

titled "Como Michael Jackson" Produced by “Scalez”, one of the best-known music producers in the state of New York, credited for recording "Coronamos" by Elite latin urban artist “Anuel AA”.

As a result of the collaboration of the song "Como Michael Jackson", “Macotea” begins to perform and sound on top radio stations and nightclubs in the tri-state area. Making other DJs and

industry executives pay attention to his talent and music.

After a year, “Macotea” was recognized for his next track titled "Millones "in collaboration with latin urban artist "Chanolock", achieving positioning as the #1 track on "LaKHalletop10" Radio. Abril 2021, Macotea decide por optar por la ruta de ser artista independiente y lanza su sencillo llamado “Quédate”, un Reggaeton con una temática romántica, acaparando la atención del público Sur Americano. En Octubre del mismo año, “Dulce” fue el próximo sencillo que Macotea lanza, regalando otro Reggaeton con toques sensuales y románticos, el cual hizo que Macotea fuera arropado por el público Chileno.

Con esta aceptación del público Chileno, Macotea fue motivado a lanzar más música, dando salida a temas como “Forty4” y “Party Party”. Ya en Julio 2022, Macotea y el artista Chileno, Tima, juntan sus talentos para crear la canción titulada “Chilenita J Lo”, la cual fue producida por otra colaboración de dos productores musicales Frankonni y Handy (Productor Chileno) bajo la distribución de Warner Music Chile. Gracias a la gran aceptación del público, “Chilenita J Lo” fue posicionada en grandes Playlists de muchas de las plataformas digitales como Spotify, Apple Music, entre otras. 

Actualmente, Macotea sigue trabajando su carrera musical dando grandes pasos, y regalando su talento a todo lo alto. Y está promocionando su sencillo reciente  “That Plata” (2024).

On April 2021, “Macotea” decides to opt for the route of being an independent artist and releases his single called "Quédate", a Reggaeton with a romantic theme, capturing the attention of the South American public. In October of the same year, "Dulce" was the next single that “Macotea” released, giving away another Reggaeton with sensual and romantic touches, which caused “Macotea” to be embraced by the Chilean crowd.

With this acceptance from the Chilean fan base, “Macotea” was motivated to release more music, releasing songs like "Forty4" and "Party Party". Already in July 2022, “Macotea” and Chilean

artist, “Tima”, join their talents to create the song titled "Chilenita JLo", which was produced by another collaboration of two music producers “Frankonni” and “Handy” (Chilean Producer) under the distribution of Warner Music Chile. Thanks to the great acceptance of the public, "Chilenita JLo" was positioned in great Playlists of many digital platforms such as Spotify, Apple Music, among others.

Currently, Macotea continues to work on his musical career taking great steps, finding his real sound and tapping in to his roots with the musical genre of “Afro-beats”. With the advantage of

mastering both languages of English and Spanish, “Macotea” decides to fuse both sounds and hits the Afro market with his new hit singles “That Plata” and  "Ultraviolete" Feat. Nigerian artist "Trishawnary" both songs produced by Dominican producer “Brayan s”

Fitting right in with his style, and unique qualities “Macotea” continues to stand out in the industry, with the combination of exceptional beats and impeccable vocals serving as a testament to his unwavering dedication to excellence.
